EASTER SEALS SUPERIOR CA is Hiring a Director of Operations Near Sacramento, CA

Under the supervision and direction of the Vice President of Easter Seals Enterprises (ESE) is responsible for overseeing of ESE’s daily operations that may include state and federal safety requirements, budgetary requirements, staff development, and state and federal compliance regulations.

Quality of Services:

  • Promotes opportunities for individuals to develop skills and increase functional abilities in the areas of vocational, domestic, self-advocacy, and community integration.
  • Review and submit all mileage sheets to the Transportation Coordination on a weekly basis.
  • Ensure all work and volunteer community sites are safe and meet the standards of quality per Easter Seals quality and compliance standards.
  • Serve as a member of the rehabilitation team and assist with curriculum development to meet program goals and objects to support extensive community integration of individuals served.
  • Assure Individual Service Planning (ISP) team meetings occur on a time semi-annually, are conducted professionally, and ISP documentation is maintained in individual’s case files per Easter Seals’ standards.
  • Assure individuals medical records are complete and current in program files and electronic medical files.
  • Coordinates Case File Quality Reviews per Easter Seals requirements.
  • Provide guidance on Person-Centered Thinking/Planning philosophy to build and sustain a service model that supports positive control and self-direction for the individuals served.
  • Develop and sustain contacts with ALTA Regional and Dept of Developmental Services’ resource staff; recruit program participants from regional centers, Dept. of Rehabilitation, etc., to maximize enrollment and attendance standards.
  • Provides input to the annual budget and monitors monthly financial statements, client attendance and billing to ensure that all aspects of ESE are financially responsible.
  • Collaborate with Director of Contracts Business Development during the bid process to ensure all contracts are properly manned and quality assurance standards are maintained.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a field related to psychology, social work, health, special education, rehabilitation, or business, from an accredited college or university is recommended.
  • Two (2) years of experience supervising program staff and managing program operation.
  • Two (2) years’ experience working with individuals with disabilities.

Requirements:

  • Valid California driver's license, proof of liability insurance.
  • Fingerprint clearance.
  • Adult CPR with AED and Basic First Aid upon hire date.
  • TB test within twelve (12) months of hire.
  • Position requires pre-placement physical.
