Responsible for marketing product lines within assigned territory. Maintain excellent demonstration skills and product knowledge. Utilize effective sales techniques. Properly complete required documentation.
| Primary Job Duties/Responsibilities |
PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
- Keep current on changes in the industry as it relates to Eakes products lines as well as competitors.
- Maintain excellent demonstration skills on all products sold or serviced.
- Analyze new manufacturer’s products as requested.
SALES ACTIVITIES:
- Continually prospect for new business as well as upgrade present customers.
- Canvass or cold call and follow up on all leads.
- Effectively utilize selling time (i.e. preparing proposals, contact customers and prospects).
- Exceed minimum sales quota and be aware of gross profit margins at all times.
- Demonstrate the product line at every opportunity.
DOCUMENT PROCESSING:
- Effectively utilize CRM and other software to track prospects and customers, complete proposals, reporting to management, etc.
- Complete all contracts properly and promptly.
- Process all required paperwork in a timely fashion and submit to proper personnel.
MISCELLANEOUS:
- Maintain professional appearance and conduct at all times.
- Attend all required sales meetings, departmental meetings, and manufacturer’s schools
- Communicate to the manager any sales reports or market changes.
OTHER DUTIES AS MAY BE ASSIGNED
Qualifications
- 1 to 2 Years Sales Experience Preferred, Will Train
- Computer Knowledge/Experience Required
- High School Education or Equivalent
- Some College Desirable
