We have an exciting opportunity for a Benefits Coordinator to join our Human Resources team in our Hunt Valley, MD office. This position will be hybrid remote.

What you will do:

As a Benefits Coordinator, you will administer and provide subject matter expertise to employees on EA's comprehensive benefits package which includes health insurance, life insurance, ESOP, 401K, tuition remission, short/long term disability/FMLA, Flexible Spending Accounts, wellness program, etc. Specific duties include:

  • Maintaining employee benefit records in Paycom.
  • Coordinating annual open enrollment process.
  • Assisting with all compliance reporting such as EEO, 1095's, SPD's, SAR's.
  • Reviewing, auditing, and processing all HR and benefit related invoices.
  • Administering short/long term disability FMLA and disability issues.
  • Assisting with policy development and implementation.
  • Coordinating and conducting weekly new employee orientations.
  • Ensuring compliance with State and Federal laws including ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, DOL, and other applicable regulations.

What you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or related field.
  • 0-3 years of experience coordinating and administering various benefits plans.
  • Experience working with third party brokers.
  • Experience with an HRIS.
  • Proficiency in using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be able to work/lead under pressure, and have excellent analytical and organizational skills.
