Summary 

As a Front Desk employee, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and performing various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our front desk area.

ESP was formed to ensure that otolaryngologists have access to unrivaled strategic, financial, and operational support. We work alongside our physicians and local practice managers to create the superior results needed in today’s medical environment. Members of the ESP team are a part of a growing community where we value people, encourage creativity, and strive for excellence. 

Job Functions Include:

  • Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving issues, and offering appropriate solutions.
  • Answer incoming calls and transfer them to the appropriate department or individual.
  • Schedule appointments and maintain the appointment calendar.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring that it reflects a professional and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Assist with training new employees on front desk procedures, company policies, and customer service standards.
  • Assist with minor office management tasks, such as managing office supplies, coordinating maintenance requests, and maintaining office equipment.
  • Support administrative functions, including data entry, filing, and record keeping.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with privacy and security regulations.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in front desk operations.
  • And any other duties needed to help drive to our Vision, fulfill our Mission, and abide by our Organization’s Values.

Qualifications


Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in a front desk or receptionist position.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, team members, and management.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
  • Proficient in using computer systems and office software (e.g., MS Office, scheduling software).
  • Prior experience in training or mentoring new employees is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with office management tasks, such as inventory management and facility coordination, is a plus.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressure.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
