Delaware Valley Community Health (DVCH) is seeking an experienced Medical Billing - A/R Specialist for a full-time, benefit eligible opportunity. Under the supervision of the Billing Leadership, the position is responsible for account receivable management, collecting and posting payments, and third party insurance claim follow-up for medical and dental services rendered to our patients. Acts as back-up to the Patient Account Counselor.We are looking for a team player who is meticulous, dependable, and efficient to ensure prompt and accurate reimbursement to include Accounts Receivable management.Qualifications:· H.S. graduate or equivalent· Current knowledge of third party billing and collection requirements to include Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Care· One year experience in physician billing or similar experience preferred· Knowledge of accounts receivable, billing or collections. · PC Skills including MS Windows, Word and Excel· Must be able to work independently with minimal guidance and collaborate as part of the team· Demonstrated excellent communication and time management skills.· Demonstrated attention to detail and meet deadlines· Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferredMay require travel to other health centers for operational needs. Applicant will communicate directly with patients and insurance carriers to electronically submit claims, settle billing issues and resolve patient accounts, follow through on denials, maintain accounts receivable, and answer patient inquiries.
