Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and crafting delicious coffee beverages. If you have a passion for coffee and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
Duties:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, such as lattes, cappuccinos, and espressos
- Operate coffee brewing equipment and maintain cleanliness of the coffee station
- Take customer orders and process payments using Aloha POS or similar systems
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction
- Assist with food preparation, including assembling sandwiches or pastries
- Maintain inventory of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the quality and freshness of products
- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils regularly
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of the coffee shop
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or other point-of-sale systems is a plus
- Strong cash handling skills and ability to perform basic math calculations accurately
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and different coffee blends
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic food handling knowledge and understanding of food safety regulations
