Job Summary:
We seek a highly organized and detail-oriented Associate Project Manager to join our team. The Associate Project Manager will oversee Terrazzo flooring construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills and a background in construction.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing all aspects of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
- Collaborate with project team members to ensure project goals and objectives are met
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
- Review project plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance
-- Assist in preparing project documentation, reports, and presentations
- Support the Project Manager in resolving any issues or conflicts that may arise during the project
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred)
- Proven experience working in a construction-related role
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials
- Proficiency in project management software such as Builder Trend or similar tools
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and interpretation
- Understanding of building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Experience with contract administration and negotiation
- Proficiency in software applications such as Bluebeam, Civil 3D, or HeavyBid is a plus
