The Waterjet Operator is responsible for preparing and operating the high-pressure Waterjet to produce/process high-quality products.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for operation, loading, and unloading material and parts, proving programs, operating controls, setting offsets, deburring, and inspection of quality parts for conformance to requirements. *
· Studies and interprets drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished products, sequence of operations, and set up requirements. *
· Detects equipment malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machines and adjusts machines, within capabilities, controls, or control media as required to ensure quality of productions. Reports all machine malfunctions to Management. *
· Responsible for keeping equipment and work area clean and orderly and performing basic preventative maintenance functions on equipment. *
· Suggest and implement improvements. *
· The effectiveness in safeguarding information contained in reports, written materials, or other confidential material/information/conversations. *
· Follows applicable safety, health, and environmental rules and guidelines. Uses appropriate protective equipment. *
· Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
Skills:
- · High School diploma or equivalent.
· Proven Waterjet experience.
· AutoCAD experience required.
· Must possess basic math skills to include but not limited to adding, subtracting, multiplication, division, geometry, and algebra to calculate material fabrication.
· Understanding blueprint reading/geometric tolerance interpretation.
· Knowledge of the use of precision measuring instruments, and the application of such instruments.
· Instruments should include but not be limited to calipers, ID and OD micrometers, depth gages, indicators, and scales.
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in fast-paced environments.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
