Recore Electrical Contractors is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for our Life Safety Division. Assistant Project Manager is responsible for helping Project Managers in the planning, directing, and coordinating industrial electrical projects. The Assistant will be working closely with Project Managers assisting with daily tasks such as coordination of projects, submittals, RFIs, estimates, and various other duties.
This is intended to be an entry level position for someone who is looking to start a career in project management. Ideal candidates for this position have recently graduated with a Construction Management degree, or have equivalent work experience in Project Management. Having prior industrial electrical experience of course is a huge plus.
Duties and Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
· Assist in the organization and management various projects.
· Assist in the financial projections
· Assists the project staff to outline work-plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority
· Helps in coordinating activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget
· Assists in preparing status reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules or plans as required
· Assists in the preparation of project reports for management, client, or others
· Assists with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problem
· Assists the onsite superintendent with duties specific to the project
· Assists in maintaining a viable and positive relationship with the customer
· Must be able to handle stress and job demands.
· Must be able to cooperatively work with others.
Experience:
· College graduate with a construction-related degree, or equivalent work experience with a High School Diploma or GED.
· Detail-oriented professional with exceptional problem-solving skills who loves new challenges and has a drive for results.
· Strong communication and organizational skills with
· Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
· Current drivers license and have own transportation to the office.
