| Lead Teacher (2 yr classroom) Job Summary Under the supervision of the School Leader, responsible for the total classroom operation per Federal Head Start Performance Standards and any additional standard referring to classroom activity. Essential Physical & Mental Requirements This is a classroom position that requires active supervision, requiring focused attention to look, listen, and engage with young children. Work requires frequent bending, stooping, lifting, squatting, kneeling, crawling, stretching, pushing, and pulling throughout the day. Must have the ability to lift and/or carry objects and children weighing up to fifty (50) pounds and quickly respond to children's needs. Regular and reliable attendance is required.. | ||
