What do we need

We are looking for two rockstar HRBP’s; one for our Product and Technology functions and the other for Science and G&A functions. You will be a strategic Partner who will work with teams, managers and key stakeholders to help build organization and people capability, and shape and implement effective people strategies and activities within the organization. You will need to have an excellent understanding of the organization, its strategy and customers, and a very good understanding of the people challenges faced by the organization. You will work to build employee engagement and satisfaction and promote good HR practice and compliance.

Responsibilities

In this role you will get to:

  • Engage with Heads of Department to offer thought on organizational and people related strategy and execution
  • Organization Design – Understand business strategies and support definition of organization capabilities, team structure, job/role design and leveling.
  • Organization Health – Provide guidance in understanding employee engagement and develop engagement strategies. Utilising data analysis to identify trends including attrition enabling you to assist in making informed decisions and link into to business priorities. Coaching and providing feedback to key stakeholders to help improve business efficiency and help to drive people strategy
  • Monitoring diversity and inclusion and develop inclusion practices linking in with hiring managers and the Talent team.
  • Compensation Planning - work with the Total Rewards team to identify compensation frameworks and planning linking to annual review cycles and market data.
  • Performance Management -lead on the performance review cycles, analysing the data and work and guide the business to effectively performance manage or develop employees identified.
  • Manage staff wellness initiatives
  • Leaver processing carryout exit interviews and analyze feedback
  • Manage employee relations.
  • Manage and execute the annual performance review process.
  • Be a trusted Business Partner with respective areas under remit
  • Questioning and challenging others to get to the root of people and business issues
  • Partner with HR Operations, Talent and Total Rewards
  • Work with the Leave Administrator on monthly maintenance and monitoring of sickness absence on the HR system, highlighting any staff with high levels of absence or anomalies to the Manager and HR.
  • Any other reasonable duties that may be required from time to time
  • Liaise with the Talent, Total Rewards and HR Operations and Tech Team

Qualifications

We are looking for people who are located within the USA, Ireland or UK and have at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally with a qualification in HR (CPP or similar) and demonstrate;

  • Experience in HR; access to highly confidential information and will need to display discretion and confidentiality
  • Experience of HR systems. Workday would be an advantage
  • Good IT skills in Microsoft office - Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Experience in managing a small team is an advantage but not essential
  • Experience in change management and process setting and implementation

  • Well organized and self-motivated
  • Able to work independently but as part of a global team
  • Ability to prioritize workload, which is essential when it comes to urgent HR tasks
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication with a high level of numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Experience of working successfully in a client-facing role
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
