Dormakaba Group is Hiring a Sales Representative Near Atlanta, GA

POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba is seeking a Sales Representative based in Atlanta, GA. This role will report directly to the AVP of Sales and work closely with the sales team. The Sales Representative is responsible for the overall sales and profitability performance in their territory. They will help develop and implement a sales strategy to achieve growth and profitability targets in the assigned region in accordance with the company operating plan.

*This is a remote position based in Atlanta, GA*

HIRING SALARY RANGE: Base Salary $75,000 - $100,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) Plus a generous Sales Incentive Compensation. This position includes a competitive benefits package. Please visit our career site for more information on benefits

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Develop a territory plan and account plans to manage the assigned territory
  • Grow the number of planned maintenance contracts and end user specifications for the territory
  • Work closely with other sales staff by attending customer meetings with them on site and via phone
  • Work closely with dormakaba personnel to capture planned maintenance agreements after new product installations
  • Sell Applied entrance solutions direct to the end user
  • Keep records of sales activities
  • Keep constant communications regarding forecasting to local branch management
  • Maintains current technical product-related knowledge and stays abreast of industry/territory knowledge and trends. Adapts to change in the marketplace
  • Uses Salesforce.com as outlined by AVP of Sales as a means of tracking and measuring individual and team sales activities and progress

WHAT WE REQUIRE

  • High school diploma or higher
  • 5-10 years of industry experience
  • Travel – up to 25% (including training and business meetings)

WHAT WE PREFER

  • End user sales experience
  • Automatic door knowledge
  • Skills or experience with personal computers, including electronic E-mail, personal scheduling, word processing and electronic spreadsheet skills
  • Ability to work within a CRM (salesforce)
