Accounts Payable

The Accounts Payable position is responsible for the processing of a designated section of Donaghy’s Payables and misc. accounting tasks, as deemed appropriate.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Daily processing of invoices (100 /day).
2. Ensuring accuracy and completion of all assigned invoices/tasks.
3. Reviewing, researching, and communicating vendor related issues.
4. Daily/Weekly posting of checks/EFT’s.
5. Review of general ledger, related to AP function.
6. Creation of JE’s to support AP function.
7. Creation and submission of various regulatory items to Federal/ State entities.
8. Accurate and timely completion of all forms, reports and other documentation as required by the position and requested by management.
9. Supports answering main line phones.
10. Responds to customer queries and redirects callers accordingly.
11. Maintains clear and respectful communication with customers, vendors, teammates and supervisors. Seeking clarification and support where needed.
12. Works well in a team environment. Willing and able to support the team as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

1. 5 years of prior accounts payable processing experience, in a digital format.
2. Strong knowledge of excel.
3. Good organizational and time-management skill
4. Proficient in the Office365 environment
5. Ability to dynamically adapt to changing technological environment
