Welcome to Doctor Dash, our NEMT (Non-Emergency Medical Transportation) business, where we provide safe, reliable, and affordable transportation services to those who need it the most. We are dedicated to serving individuals with special needs, seniors, and individuals with disabilities, who require assistance in traveling to their medical appointments and other destinations.
Duties:
- Safely operate a variety of vehicles, including vans, buses, and shuttles, depending on the specific job requirements
- Transport passengers or deliver goods to their designated locations in a timely manner
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure a safe driving experience for all passengers and pedestrians
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with their needs and addressing any concerns or questions they may have
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance to ensure vehicles are in proper working order
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and other relevant information
Requirements:
- 18 years or older
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Commercial driving experience is preferred but not required
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with passengers and customers in a professional manner
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, depending on the job requirements
- Knowledge of local traffic laws and routes to efficiently navigate through different areas
- Must pass any required background checks or drug screenings as mandated by the employer
- CPR/First Aid and AED Certified
- HIPAA Certified
- PASS Certified
Skills:
- Proficient in driving various types of vehicles, such as vans, buses, or shuttles
- Ability to maintain vehicles in good condition through regular inspections and maintenance
- Strong customer service skills to provide a positive experience for passengers or customers
- Capable of lifting heavy objects when necessary for loading or unloading purposes
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety protocols for transporting passengers or goods
