Position Overview *Eligible for Full Time Remote

DTSI is seeking an Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) who will analyze and resolve general database activities in a highly visible, 24/7, mission critical environment. This role will work with development, application and production support teams supporting and implementing application changes, database enhancements, and database production to include incident, problem and change management. Qualified candidate will have extensive troubleshooting experience, Oracle quarterly patch install experience, knowledge of Oracle upgrades, and running daily data-fixes.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Creates and maintains all databases required for development, testing and production usage, and perform the capacity planning as required.
• Performs ongoing tuning of the database instances
• Administers all database objects, including tables, clusters, indexes, views, sequences, packages and procedures.
• Troubleshoots problems regarding the databases, applications and development tools.
• Creates new database users as required.
• Provides standard onsite support with additional after hours/weekend support as needed

Required Qualifications

• 5 years experience in Oracle DBA role
• Oracle Version 19C
• Knowledge of operating system(s) especially Linux, and physical database design
• Knowledge of Oracle backup and recovery scenarios
• Experience with migrating code, database changes, Oracle quarterly patch installs

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience

DoD Security

• Tier 3 Background Investigation (Interim Secret / Secret Clearance)
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II (Security )
