Description

DSI is a 33 year old, Top 200 EW Electrical Distributor. DSI is a full line electrical distributor and provider of supply chain management and logistics solutions with brick and mortar locations across the Southeast US.

As an Inside Sales Representative for DSI, you will maintain relationships with established customers as well as develop relationships with new prospects while selling DSI products and services. Our Inside Sales Representatives develop relationships with a wide variety of customers, learn about exciting technology and products, and grow their career in sales.

Position expectations include:

  • Develop and grow customer accounts
  • Handle customer inquiries promptly and effectively
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer records
  • Meet or exceed assigned annual sales and margin budgets
  • Possible travel, short term and extended, to customer sites
  • Possible temporary relocation while working at customer site

Requirements

Experience and skills required:

  • 3 years of experience in electrical distribution
  • Wire & Cable knowledge highly preferred
  • Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to negotiate and be persuasive
  • Work independently and within a team
  • Ability and willingness to travel
