District House of Taps is seeking an Operations Assistant that is familiar with the restaurant industry. You will assist with a variety of duties necessary to the basic operations of your employer. Job responsibilities include:
*Opening the restaurant daily and actively involved in the overall cleanliness of the entire restaurant.
*Cleaning assignments include the restrooms, trash removal, sweeping, vacuuming and mopping floors and wiping down tables and chairs.
*Educate customers on how to sample beer. (Color, Clarity, carbonation, head retention, aroma, mouthfeel/body, flavors, finish)
*Learn the IPourIt POS system
*Assist with inventory procedures
*Knows how to change (tap) a keg
*Ensure the tap room area, shelving, storage areas, cooler are clean and orderly.
*Wash and put away all Tap Room glassware.
*Programming new kegs tapped into the IpourIt system
*MUST HAVE A GREAT AND POSITIVE ATTITUDE
*Provide excellent customer service to visitors. Greet and serve visitors in a positive and friendly way.
*must have a basic knowledge of craft beer
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $10.25 - $14.50 per hour
