Litigation Associate

New York City, NY (Hybrid)

$200,000 – $375,000 Base

We are partnering with a leading firm in the city who are seeking a mid-level associate to join their Litigation group. The ideal candidate for this position will have a minimum of 3 years of litigation experience (preferably gained while practicing at an AmLaw firm), and experience with products liability and/or complex commercial litigation. The associate’s primary responsibilities will involve working with experts; assisting with fact development and depositions; reviewing and drafting discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda; and helping develop case strategy.

• Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties;
• Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence in an efficient and responsive manner;
• Provide timely, accurate, and quality work product;
• Successfully meet deadlines, expectations, and perform work duties as required;
• Foster positive work relationships;
• Comply with all firm policies and practices;
• Perform all other duties, tasks or projects as assigned.

Requirements

• J.D.
• 3 years litigation experience
• NY Bar

Qualified candidate can expect a base salary range of $200,000 to $375,000. Final salary will be based on a number of factors, Academic background and qualifications, length of experience, and other job related factors. Full time employees are eligible for discretionary bonuses and full access to the firms employee benefits package.
