DGA Security, NYCs largest privately held security alarm firm, is looking for an experienced Inventory Control Manager to join our successful operations team.

The Role

In this role, you will manage all aspects of inventory control to maintain our in-house stockroom operation and play a pivotal role in our fleet management and facilities maintenance. You will lead, mentor, and work alongside an established team, fostering an environment of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Inventory Control:

• Overall management of procurement, inventory, and shipping/receiving
• Efficiently organize the stockroom with all items clearly and easily identified
• Management of inventory levels to ensure minimum and maximum stock is maintained for all items; schedules and performs regular inventory audits at specified intervals
• Implementation and management of inventory control for companys off-site satellite stockroom locations
• Utilize inventory management software and associated hardware to maintain accurate inventory database
• Management of 3 department employees and their assigned tasks
• Responsible for on-time shipments and tracking of materials/equipment to national vendors including packaging/labeling and any necessary follow-up
• Ensure a clean, safe working environment for all stockroom personnel

Facilities Maintenance:

• Responsible for the maintenance of inventory levels of key materials for the facility
• Management of on-site facility maintenance and projects as directed
• Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure timely and cost-effective facility services.
• Management of 3 facility maintenance employees and their assigned tasks

Fleet Management:

• Responsible for comprehensive fleet management including vehicle acquisition, maintenance tracking/scheduling, and regular vehicle exterior/interior cleaning
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements including all current documentation in vehicles
• Management of inventory levels in vehicles, where applicable, and promote a high standard of vehicle cleanliness and organization

What you need to be successful

• 3-5 years of provenexperience in inventory control, warehouse management, or another related field
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong leadership skills with prior proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, experience with inventory or financial software preferred
• Ability to operate warehouse related equipment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and to climb a ladder
• Must have excellent work habits, be always punctual and presentable
