JOB SUMMARY
The Compensation Analyst supports company-wide compensation programs. The Compensation Analyst is responsible for supporting programs administration and implementation and communication of new programs, policies and processes.
The Compensation Analyst is also responsible for providing support, guidance and recommendations on base pay management, completing market analysis and for collaborating with senior members of the team to support HR Consultants and Business leaders on all compensation-related issues.
Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.
Major Responsibilities
Provides support to the Compensation Consultants and may collaborate and act as the internal consultant to HR Consultants and business leadership on compensation-related issues, as needed.
Assists with the global year-end process, including project management, stakeholder training and communication, reporting, analytics, and audits.
Responsible for participating in the annual external salary survey data gathering and submission on behalf of Discover, and analysis of results.
Maintains job description library and Serves as the owner of the organization’s salary survey database and makes recommendations on job evaluation process, and methodology.
Assists in the creation and maintenance of salary administration programs including salary structures, merit and promotional guidelines, and short term incentive.
Completes job evaluations, comprehensive market analysis and creates accurate job descriptions aligned with best practices
Provides support on Compensation related projects, working with cross-functional partners.
