Program Summary
The CVI Program is designed to interrupt the cycles of violence by providing street outreach, violence interruption, case management services and job readiness training to individuals who have been disconnected from work and school, are gang-involved and / or are exiting the prison / jail system to ensure a successful path to reduced recidivism and becoming productive members of our community.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
The Program Assistant's position will provide administrative and logistical support to the Department Director and other team members.
Tasks include answering phone calls, emails, scheduling and coordinating team activities such as meetings and workshops and assisting in the delivery of services to program participants.
The Program Assistant is responsible for supporting daily program operations, material, and activities of the CVI Department including :
1) Ordering program materials and preparing expenditure requests and expense reports.
2) Screening all calls and assisting in connecting participants to resources.
3) Organizing Department meetings, including the agendas, minutes, and notice of meetings and submit monthly reports.
4) Assist with workshops, including planning and preparing materials and assisting in group facilitation.
5) Create, organize, and maintain all files and program materials.
6) Assist with client recruitment, registration, attendance, and documentation of activities
7) Assist with and attend agency-wide activities.
8) Perform all other related duties as assigned by your immediate supervisor
Qualifications :
Starting Salary :
$38,000 - $42,000 with full benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid PTO and holidays.
