DNV Energy Systems Energy Management group is seeking a Program Analyst to join our DTE Energy team. The ideal candidate for this position will be an experienced Program Analyst in energy efficiency programs. This position will be based out of our DNV office in Detroit, Michigan, offering a hybrid schedule of an average three (3) days in the office and two (2) days working remotely. Detroit Metropolitan area residents are strongly encouraged to apply.

What You'll do:

  • Lead the development and execution of strategic data analysis projects to support business objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define analytical goals and metrics for success.
  • Manage and mentor a team of business analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide guidance on project priorities and ensure the team's alignment with organizational goals.
  • Oversee the creation of data models and visualizations to enhance decision-making processes.
  • Ensure the development of insightful reports and visual dashboards for diverse stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
  • Serve as a liaison between business units and the analytics team.
  • Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and relevance of analytical outputs.
  • Implement and maintain quality assurance processes within the analytics team.

What is Required:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Business, Analytics, or a related field
  • At least three years of leadership experience in a business analyst role, with a track record of leading successful analytical projects and the ability to guide and inspire a team of analysts.
  • Familiarity and experience in SQL
  • Familiarity and experience in Power BI programming
  • Familiarity and experience in MS Dynamics CRM
  • Accounts payable background/skills
  • Intermediate experience in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams. Experience in MS Power Automate a plus.
  • Must be flexible, able to prioritize work assignments, and work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard data visualization tools and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication (both verbal and written), customer service and phone skills, organizational, grammar, and spelling skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure in time-critical situations and be productive and self-motivated during slow periods

What is Preferred:

  • Knowledge with utility and/or energy eiciency programs
  • Experience working with energy efficiency or energy efficient products with a utility, government, non-profit or public agency a plus.
