About us

Deltex Electric Inc. is a medium sized electrical contractor located in Buffalo, NY.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Office Manager to join our team. A qualifed candidate will be responsible for managing a wide range of administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of our office. This includes typing, data entry, managing reception duties, handling accounts payable and receivable, and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform typing and data entry tasks with accuracy and speed.
  • Manage the front desk, including greeting visitors and answering phone calls.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely billing and payment processing.
  • Maintain and update files and databases to ensure information accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Utilize Microsoft Word and Excel for document preparation and data management.
  • Operate QuickBooks for financial record keeping and reporting.
  • Assist in the preparation of regular reports and presentations as required.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in office management or a similar administrative role.
  • Strong typing skills and proficiency in data entry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for managing reception duties.
  • Knowledge of accounts payable and receivable processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.

This position requires someone who is detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team. If you have a commitment to administrative excellence and a desire to facilitate the efficient operation of a dynamic office, we encourage you to apply.

Pay: $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
