Dean’s Professional Services is now hiring a qualified, patient-care-focused Certified Medical Assistant to work in a Hospital Facility in Houston, Texas.

The Certified Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting providers in the administration of patient care in assigned clinical areas

Job Responsibilities:

• Confirms appropriateness of the ordered exam from the diagnosis. 
• Assists with patient examinations, procedures, diagnostic studies, treatment, and dressing changes. 
• Also performs general administrative duties by TJC, CLIA, HIPAA, NCQA, and government standards, as well as company policies and procedures. 
• All patient care is under the direction of a physician and within the scope of a medical assistant.

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent – Required.
• Certified or Registered MA – Required 
• 1 year of experience 
• Experience in administering injections & vaccines – Required 
• Documentation Experience 
• Patient Rooming Experience 

Job Details:

• Schedule: M-F 8:00 am – 5:00 om
• Starting at $19/hr. (Based on experience) 
• Full benefits – healthcare, dental, vision, 401k program.
• Temp-to-Hire opportunity.
