Moonat Medical Associates is Hiring a Medical Assistant (Temporary)- Spring, Tx Near Spring, TX
Certified Medical Assistant needed for a Family Practice Office in the FM 2920/I-45 area.
Duties include:
1. Check Vitals and room patients
2. Keep exam rooms clean and presentable.
3. **Enter detailed history in the EMR. Knowledge of eClinicalWorks and EPIC necessary.
4. Proper handling and processing of patient orders/paperwork.
5. EKG
6. Injections and Immunizations
7. Referrals/ Preauthorizations
8. Prescription refills
9. Any other responsibility necessary for patient care in the office.
10. Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
Minimum 2 years experience required in a primary care office
Must have experience with Eclinical Works or EPIC EMR
Must have completed high school/GED and have a Certification for Medical Assistant
Must be proficient in Electronic health records/medical terminology/knowledge of ICD 10 and CPT codes.
Very dependable and reliable
