Deacon Construction, a major General Contractor with offices throughout the West Coast, is looking for a motivated individual to join our marketing department in the Sacramento office. This person must be an organized self-starter, confident in their ability to lead marketing programs for our Northern California offices and collaborate across departments. The Marketing Manager will work closely with our business development team and the overall marketing team. Attention to detail and an eye for quality is critical to support all content creation, including collateral, content, social media, events and more.
Primary responsibilities:

• Manage strategic marketing plan and budget for Northern California
• Assist in the preparation of RFP/proposal responses and qualifications
• Maintain and implement corporate brand standards in NorCal
• Manage and support local (NorCal) industry events (virtual and in person)
• Write and submit social media and blog content
• Prepare presentation materials
• Create custom design projects as needed
• Assist with ordering marketing items for the Sacramento office
• Assist with internal events as needed

Education/Skills:
Bachelor’s in business, communications or marketing required. Candidates must be proficient with Adobe CC (InDesign, PhotoShop, Illustrator, Acrobat) and Microsoft Office Suite. Candidates must be creative, have strong writing skills, be well organized and dependable. Experience working in the A/E/C industry is desirable, as is working with websites, email marketing programs and sales CRM programs.
