Our job is not an easy one - we work with complex teens from a variety of backgrounds. HOWEVER, the hard work and support we provide to teens in treatment is rewarding and a mission worth serving. We are currently hiring a Mental Health Therapist for our Spokane, Washington inpatient facility working with adolescent girls. This is a full time position, offering competitive pay, benefits and paid time off.
As a Mental Health Therapist youwill provide mental health and substance use disorder counseling as needed for clients and families. Will assist in group discussion around both mental health and substance use issues. Will work closely with psych ARNP and medical to insure best possible whole person care is provided to clients and families.
  • Provides mental health treatment services to both inpatient clients and clients recovering from sex trafficking in our Restorative Receiving Center.
  • Facilitates co-occurring treatment services such as individual, family, or group therapy (focused on topics related to mental illness, or substance use). 
  • Designs and implements co-occurring treatment modalities and strategies to support the treatment philosophy of the agency. 
  • Will complete a SUD and/or mental health assessment if for each client. 
  • Create client centered co-occurring treatment plans and update them using ASAM Treatment Criteria. 
  • Assures that co-occurring individual service and discharge plans are implemented in accordance with agency policy.

Compensation: Competitive pay starting at $60K for Single License SW, $65K for dual license SW and SUDP and a $5,000 Sign On Bonus
Education/Experience: Minimum qualifications include a master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field. 
Certificates/Licenses: 
  • Must have a current State of Washington DOH issued mental health credential (Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) LMHC Associate (LMHCA), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or LICSW Associate)).

  • Current Washington State DOH issued SUDP/SUDP Trainee credential preferred.
