Our client is a highly successful, international boutique litigation firm peppered with ex-Big Law litigators and they are seeking a Litigation Paralegal for their team. The paralegal must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Big Law or top-tier litigation boutique setting , with a minimum of one year experience in Arbitrations, representing clients on restructuring disputes, contested issues in bankruptcy, and cross-border litigation.
The Litigation Paralegal drafts correspondence, routine pleadings and motions, disclosure requests and responses according to judicial procedures and other related documents; Prepares and maintains documents and bundles to be used at hearings and proceedings {hard copies and soft copy PDFs, including pagination); Liaises directly with clients and third parties, especially as regards to document collection and management; Assists attorneys with preparation for depositions and trials, which may include attending depositions, trials and other hearings.; Assists with client interviews and witnesses and prepares summaries of statements.
Bachelor’s degree preferred. Associates degree and paralegal certificate required. Arbitration/Litigation team experience is preferred. Strong MS Office technical skills and internet research skills are required. Ability to use initiative; identify problems, gather data, develop and assess alternative courses of action is required. Compensation includes a salary of 110K-130K accompanied by a bonus ( merit and formula based) and robust benefits package.
