DataTribe is Hiring a Remote Director, Enterprise Sales - Fianu Labs

Do you want to help build a category-defining software governance platform?
Fianu Labs is pioneering the path for businesses to succeed in the era of software regulation with an empathetic and intuitive approach to governance that instills confidence in each release. The Fianu platform captures evidence throughout the DevSecOps pipeline and performs real-time, continuous audits leading up to production deployment so that businesses can be confident in the compliance of the software that reaches production.
Fianu Labs is currently seeking a Director of Enterprise Sales who will be responsible for revenue, selling into companies operating in regulated industries like healthcare and financial services. In addition to direct sales, this will include sales forecasting, pipeline development and reporting, POC oversight and customer relationships. Prior sales experience at an early-stage start-up and strong knowledge of the DevOps, governance, and security marketplace is desired. You should be able to drive sales and demonstrate excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer relationship skills in a fast-paced environment. This role will work closely with and report directly to the CEO.
Job Duties and Responsibilities 
The Director of Sales will have a demonstrable successful track record in:
  • Successful track record selling enterprise software to regulated environments (Financial Services, Healthcare, Medtech, Automotive, Energy);
  • Possess a functional knowledge of DevOps, Governance, and/or Security;
  • Have prior sales experience at a seed-stage venture-backed start-up;
  • Experience using solution-selling methodologies in creating and owning high-level strategic relationships;
  • Experience working with internal technical resources (pre-sales sales engineer) and other corporate functional departments to best position the company for successful sales campaigns;
  • Adept at communicating with both a technical audience and at the senior management or C- level;
  • Proven strong negotiation and contracting skills;
  • Knows how to develop and manage a sales pipeline that articulates steps and objectives;
  • Advanced-level knowledge of tools to aid in detailed tracking of leads and pipeline development;
Job Requirements and Qualification
  • Bachelor-level degree or equivalent technical qualification;
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills;
  • Experience working in a quota-carrying capacity;
  • High level of attention to detail;
  • Referenceable success in team quota achievement;
  • Professional sales training e.g. Strategic Selling, Power Base, or Target Account Selling (TAS).
Nice-to haves
  • Forecasting and reporting activity within the CRM;
  • 3 to 5 years of sales management experience in a direct selling position with experience selling to DevOps, Governance, or Security teams;
  • Building a team of consistently successful sales representatives;
  • Direct touch sales combined with the ability to work with the channel;
Compensation plan (salary and commission) commensurate with experience.
