DCG is expanding its Finance Department and seeking an Accounting Assistant to work aside the Accounting Manager primarily focused on Accounts Payable, data entry, processing, and recording transactions within Quickbooks®. You will play an essential role in ensuring the precision and integrity of our financial records while supporting various accounting tasks.
Responsibilities
- Process and review vendor and expense invoices
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly and accurately
- Reconcile corporate credit card transactions
- Convert/file all vendor and expense invoices electronically
- Record transactions in Quickbooks
- Prepare graphs as needed for presentation purposes
- Assist with financial audits by providing necessary information and documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Finance or Accounting
- 2 year experience in bookkeeping/accounting role
- Knowledge of Quickbooks
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Understanding of Accounting Principles
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
