- Ideate and develop highly creative product concepts, textures, ingredient stories and claims to support the overall brand strategy
- Brief and Kick-off project with specified Third Party Contract Manufacturers
- Work individually and cross-functionally to track all project Milestones and
Task to ensure on-time launch of products that meet high-quality standards - Go on-site to Third Party Contract Manufacturer to finalize development and provide on-
site approvals to support launch timing as needed - Analyze competitive landscape and data to determine white space development
opportunities and benchmarks, present to management, and collaborate on 2-3 year
roadmap strategy - Create, present, and update Product Decks, Product Profiles, and Fact Sheets for all
innovation/ launches to support on-going development, storytelling, education, and
marketing initiatives - Review all PR, Education, and Copy for alignment of communication to ensure accuracy
of content - Track and update Category Assortment, Pricing, and Sizing
- Manage sampling and Promo development
- Oversee reformulation and updating of existing products and or packaging
- Attend Make-up shows and tradeshows
- Approve Lab Standards, Pilot and First Production (on-site approval if needed)
- 5 years of relevant work experience in Product Development
- A bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or a related field may be advantageous
- Proven track record of overseeing or assisting with successful launches
- Agile and can manage multiple complex abilities to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written, verbal communication, and strong presentation skills
- Ability to personally organize and set priorities and work cross-functionally to achieve
desired outcomes - Forward Thinking, Problem Solver that strategically thinks outside the box
- Manage and prioritize daily and weekly tasks accordingly to support the business strategy
- Ability to work in the office, Monday - Friday, 9-6 pm. *Some overtime may be required
- Ability to travel both domestically and internationally as needed.
