Farmingdale State College invites applications for a lecturer position in Psychology to support the Child Development Associate (CDA) Micro credential program. The CDA micro credential provides students with a pathway to become an early childhood educator. The successful candidate is expected to have a Master-level degree in either Psychology or Early Childhood Education and extensive experience working in childcare centers. The successful candidate will also have college-level teaching experience. Lecturers teach 15 contact hours per semester and are required to hold 5 office hours. Additional responsibilities include advisement, departmental service, as well as curriculum review and development.
