Farmingdale State College invites applications for a part-time (50%) lecturer position in Psychology to support the new Direct Support Professional (DSP) Microcredential program. The DSP microcredential supports the academic and career success of Direct Support Professionals across New York State. The successful candidate is expected to have a Master-level degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology. The successful candidate will teach 3 contact hours per semester and will receive 3 credits of release time to provide wrap-around services for students enrolled in the microcredential. Additionally, lecturers are required to hold 2.5 office hours. Additional responsibilities include advisement, departmental service, as well as curriculum review and development.
