Daifuku America Corporation is a leader in Design, Manufacturing, Installation and Support of factory and distribution automation/material handling systems in North America. The company is currently seeking an experienced Sales Engineer
Responsible for establishing and identifying accounts, concepts, and material handling systems. Must work with estimating to develop pricing and proposals, and negotiate contracts. Must be a highly motivated self-starter
Develop plans to business from Key Accounts and provide management with required information for pricing decisions and product development. Determine customer needs and critique proposed material handling systems to determine the likelihood of the customer purchasing. Meet with customers, review jobsites, occasional limited climbing. Identify capable subcontractors in local areas to assist Estimating in the proposal effort. This includes taking contractors on "job walks" as required. Develop close customer relationships with Key decision makers in purchasing, engineering, and at the plant levels.

Good communication skills, good with people, self-motivated, detailed oriented, experienced in installation and commissioning of conveyor systems. knowledgeable in PLC programming (AB and GE), ability to do sales, experience in estimating, willing to travel both national and International, work in a team environment, can work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Education and Experience
A four year bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
4-5 years' experience
