Worksite Location : Coon Rapids, MN Health Product Support Specialist Job Description

This role supports agencies and agents in all aspects of health insurance including under age 65, Medicare, group, and ancillary products such as vision, dental, hospital indemnity, travel etc.

What you’ll do as the Health Product Support Specialist :

• Be familiar with market information as to what current programs are being offered by our carriers, and keep current on new products as they are introduced, or any changes to current products
• Work with agents to provide product training
• Support the sales team as agents work through the onboarding process
• Assist and guide agents with renewal and certification processes
• Utilize and demonstrate third-party and carrier technology platforms IFC provides to agents and employers
• Attend conferences and training seminars
• Use the company Agency Management System
• Must be willing to become licensed in Health and Life, maintain AHIP
• Assist and train agents with group renewal processes including quoting for multiple carriers What you will bring to the role as a Health Product Support Specialist :
• College degree or equivalent experience
• Working knowledge of Individual, Medicare, and Small Group Health plan products, regulations, and processes
• Previous Insurance sales experience is preferred but not required
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally both verbally and written
• Must possess proficient computer skills and excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products and Window-based applications
