People Newspapers , D Magazine partner, is seeking a digital production assistant to help produce two monthly community newspapers and various digital products.

Responsibilities Include:

• Work with art director and editors to design and produce print and digital content across various platforms. This includes , weekly e-newsletters, ROS ads, and creating landing pages.
• Basic maintenance of WordPress website, and communicating with outsourced developers.
• Work with sales department to produce advertisements to be placed in all People Newspapers print and digital products.
• Collaborate with the team on marketing material, sales pieces, client proposals, and special promotions.
• Assist with development of special sections.
• Gather and analyze monthly digital stats and report to team.

Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:

• 3 year’s experience in graphic design and or production.
• High level of knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite for Mac, specifically Photoshop, InDesign, InCopy, Illustrator, Distiller, and Acrobat.
• Experienced in assessing and enhancing CMYK and B&W photography and art for press-ready production. Working knowledge of pre-fighting files, performing quality evaluations, and making necessary revisions in order to ensure quality reproduction.
• Experienced in web content production utilizing; WordPress, MailChimp, Wufoo, Google Ad Manager , and Google Analytics .
• Ability to manage time and adhere to deadlines.
• Ability to work both independently and as a team player .
• Exceptional organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
• Loyal, honest, high-energy, strong work ethic, and good sense of humor.
