Join our team as a Windows Server Operations Specialist in this hybrid role, with 3 days onsite, contributing to the efficient operation of the Windows enterprise server environment using BigFix.
Job Description
- Responsible patching, requiring collaboration with the engineering team and server business owners to identify patching and restart procedures.
- Includes standard patching cycles, expedited patching with after-hours and weekend deployments
- Working with BigFix to deploy/remove agents and applications to the Windows server environment.
- Generate reports within BigFix applications for security and audit requests. Extensive operational experience with BigFix, including application upgrades, is a must.
- 5 years of overall IT experience
- 4 years of Windows Server build-out, configuration, administration experience
- 3 years working with the BigFix product, deploying patches, applications, and performing updates
- Good documentation and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting experience required
- Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Location: Alpharetta GA
- Hybrid: 3 days, onsite
- Contract Length: 1 year
$54-$64/hr
