CXtec is Hiring a Sales Manager - End User Sales Near Syracuse, NY

The Sales Manager will be a dynamic and inspirational leader, responsible for guiding and developing a team of sales representatives towards achieving exceptional sales results. This role involves thoughtful planning, hands-on coaching and direct customer engagement, with a focus on fostering a high-performance sales culture.

This position is located in Syracuse, NY and requires onsite work.
The pay range for this position, based out of Syracuse, NY, is $125,000 - $175,000. This range includes a base salary and commission. The base pay offered will vary based on applicant’s relevant skills, education, experience, certifications, and geographic location as well as other business and organizational needs.

What you'll be doing:

Lead and Mentor: Provide leadership and coaching to sales representatives, setting an example in sales excellence through effective instruction and personal sales achievements.

Sales Forecasting: Ensure accurate and timely forecasting of sales figures, contributing to the overall predictability and stability of the sales pipeline.

Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the VP of Sales to create and implement strategic growth plans tailored to specific territories or vertical markets.

Skill Development: Enhance the prospecting, value proposition articulation, negotiation, deal qualification, and closing abilities of the sales team through continuous coaching.

Territory Management: Work alongside sales reps to formulate robust territory and account management strategies, ensuring comprehensive market coverage.

Customer Engagement: Engage directly with customers within the territory to build relationships and understand client needs, potentially managing key accounts personally.

Team Building: Oversee the recruitment and staffing of the sales team, aligning with the VP of Sales to assemble a team capable of surpassing sales targets.

Performance Tracking: Monitor and manage key sales metrics to identify areas of success and those requiring improvement.

Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Maintain open lines of communication with other departments to synergize efforts and drive business growth.

Meeting Facilitation: Conduct regular sales meetings to review performance, set goals, and ensure alignment with the territory’s success.

Career Development: Assist sales reps in navigating their career paths within the organization, providing guidance and opportunities for advancement.

Goal Achievement: Meet and exceed strategic objectives as outlined by company leadership.

Flexibility: Be prepared to take on additional responsibilities as the need arises to support the team and achieve company goals.

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree or, in lieu of degree, four years of sales experience.
  • Five years of experience in sales leadership and team development.
  • Strong understanding of sales strategies and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and departments.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and coaching.
