Cutting Edge, Inc is Hiring an Administrative Assistant Near Garden, ID

Cutting Edge Landscape is seeking a team member that brings positivity and people-first focus as the Administrative Assistant!

The Administrative Assistant is focused on providing support in two primary areas: 1) Office Administration, 2) People Support. Since you will often be the first teammate visitors and new employees meet, it’s crucial that you bring a welcoming and engaging personality, along with attention to detail and service.

Office Administration  

  • Warmly greet and assist all guests visiting and calling the office
  • Maintain a good communication flow between customers and account managers
  • Maintain contact lists up to date
  • Order and stock office/food supplies
  • Coordinate calendars and meeting rooms when Cutting Edge team members or other guests are visiting the office. 
  • Facilitate all ingoing and outgoing mail and packages, including shipping packages, letters, and other items as directed. 
  • Serve as primary point of contact for Cutting Edge with building management for all communication relating to the building. 

People & Community Support 

  • Set up new hires with access to computer and production software
  • Order business cards for new and current employees. 
  • Assist HR in the welcoming and onboarding of new Cutting Edge employees, including pre-start date actions, workstation set up, welcome gifts, etc. 
  • Order or coordinate items as directed for the following occasions: employee recognition, special moments, service anniversaries, birthdays, etc. 
  • Coordinate Cutting Edge community engagement and service project events or outreach. 
  • Assist with Cutting Edge involvement with area community organizations
  • Assist with Cutting Edge submissions for publication including for awards, recognition, or advertisement. 

If this sounds exciting to you, we are seeking a leader with these qualifications: 

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. 
  • Have experience as an Office Administrator, Executive Assistant, Administrative Assistant, or a similar role. 
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and have an eye for design. 
  • Superb time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. 
  • Be a highly effective communicator in person, in writing, and over the phone. 
  • Must be able to interact and communicate with all levels of the organization. 
  • Familiarity with common procedures and basic account principles used in the office. 
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and other office management tools and applications. 
  • Have the capacity to quickly learn new computer systems and platforms. 
  • Have an attitude of always looking to improve upon what we are doing and how.
