Overview:

Our health insurance client is looking for a Business System Analyst for a 3 month long contract with conversion to full time possible. This position is an ONSITE Hybrid role located in PHILADELPHIA, PA. This position requires candidates to be onsite 3 days per week.

This BSA candidate should possess strong skills and abilities to create user stories and manage requirements between the business client and work closely with the development team.

Qualifications:

1. Extensive experience in multiple and diverse environments and applications.
2. Knowledge and experience in all major functions, issues and considerations of the subject matter.
3. Resource has played a leadership role in establishing standards, policies strategy and best practice.
4. Ability to discuss industry and marketplace trends and directions and site relevant case studies.
5. Resource has had an influence on wide or high-impact decisions and initiatives and has a theoretical background and understanding of the subject matter.
6. Capable of managing manages a diverse and complex suite of projects simultaneously. Experience managing cross-functional projects/project teams

Responsibilities:

1. Formulates and defines scope (requirements) and objective based on user needs and thorough understanding of business processes.
2. Works with stakeholders on process improvement projects designed to improve results.
3. Gathers and analyzes information and provides recommendations to address and resolve root causes.
4. Evaluates/researches business problems and their relationship to technology.
5. Experience leading business process re-engineering efforts.
6. Ability to dialogue and negotiate with all levels of stakeholders.
7. Organizes and presents ideas in a convincing and compelling manner.
8. Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills.
9. Understands the value of process-centric approach to business analysis Tackles complex business/systems problems and conveys this information to stakeholders (includes technical teams for translation into solution design).
10. Identifies process, technology and organizational role changes necessary to support business goals and objectives.
11. Experience in leading business process re-engineering efforts.
12. Understanding of business strategy development techniques.
13. Ability to facilitate dialogue across functional areas and provide consultative direction.
