CSS Tec is Hiring an AWS Cloud Engineer - IVR Near Philadelphia, PA

Job Details

  • This is a 4 month Contract to Hire opportunity.
  • Must live in PA, DE or NJ to be considered.
  • Must be commutable to Philadelphia, PA 3 days/week, no exceptions.
  • Must be able to work on W2 contract terms and eligible for hire without sponsorship.

The position will involve working with offshore and onsite resources, focusing on technologies such as Terraform, Lambda Connect, IVR, and Lex. The engineer will be responsible for managing call flows through Amazon Connect and Amazon IVR. The project will involve migration from AWS to Google Cloud Platform, with a focus on automation using Amazon Lambdas. The engineer will work closely with the application team and collaborate with DevOps on Azure DevOps automation. The role requires at least 5-6 years of experience and proficiency in Terraform. Preferred skills include knowledge of Amazon Connect and Amazon IVR. The engineer will join a team of one onsite engineer and one offshore engineer. The engineer will collaborate with offshore team members and participate in regular status calls. The engineer will face challenges related to picking up technologies quickly and working on the IVR system.

AWS, Google Cloud Platform, ELK, Terraform, AWS Lambda,AWS Connect,AWS IVR,AWS Lex Responsibilities
Design and Implement AWS architectures and environments
Assist in building and maintaining cloud-native applications
Leverage automation tools such as Terraform for operational efficiency
Evaluate and propose AWS and Google Cloud Platform cost optimization
Create and maintain cloud architecture diagrams
Daily administration of AWS and Google Cloud Platform environments
Maintain best practices and support procedures
Extend and enhance IBC on-prem policy and standards to cloud deployments
Expert level experience with AWS and Google Cloud Platform
Implement and maintain solutions and technologies that address cyber security issues
Perform scheduled and ad hoc control/compliance validation
Assessment and audit of compliance against the security policies and standards
Improve and maintain monitoring, configuration management, and reporting functions
Provide after-hours support for Production Release
Serve as technical expert in cloud technologies
Provide support with escalated help desk requests via Service Now
Perform troubleshooting as needed, assist with problem-solving efforts, involving other teams, partners, and outside vendors
Experience in Amazon Connect with strong experience in designing and implementing IVR solutions using Amazon Connect
Experience in designing and developing Chatbots using Amazon Lex
Expert in Terraform in creating AWS Lambdas
Experience in AWS Elasticache and dynamodb
Experience in AWS SQS,SNS and SES

Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in information technology, computer science, software engineering, or equivalent knowledge acquired by work experience and training
Working experience of at least three years in AWS designing and building web environments with services like EC2, ELB, RDS, and S3
Minimum of 2 years of experience with configuration and implementation of packaged or custom IAM solutions
Proficiency in the ability to prepare presentations, analysis reports, and program status reports
Proven experience working in highly collaborative environments.
A solid background in Linux/Unix and Windows server system administration
Experience using DevOps tools in a cloud environment, such as Ansible, Azure DevOps, Jenkins,Git
Familiarity with Encryption, Logging, and Privacy/Security Protocols (e.g. TLS 1.2, ELK stack)
Proficiency in script development and scripting languages
Expertise in securing systems, providing audit evidence, Cluster/HA, and standards implementation
Excellent oral/written presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with leadership
