Our healthcare client is looking for a Senior Network Engineer. The Senior Network Engineer role is to ensure the stability and integrity of the network infrastructure and services. Assists with planning, designing, and developing local area network (LAN), metro area network (MAN), and wide area network (WAN) across the organization. Participate with the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all network hardware, software, and communication links. This individual will analyze and resolve network hardware and software complex problems in a timely and accurate fashion utilizing advanced troubleshooting methods, techniques, and tools, apply proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve systems issues. This is a 6 month long contract with the strong possibility to convert.

Areas of responsibility will include:
Managing LAN/MAN/WAN, Firewall (VPN), Load Balancing Technology, Wireless Networking, Cloud Networking, document and maintain advanced troubleshooting techniques and capacity planning methods on systems (e.g., diagrams, technical specifications, operating manuals.).
Providing research and recommendation for continuous process improvement including evaluate vendor proposals review in line with procurement policies and procedures.
Working on projects/systems/issues of medium to large complexity project as a project team member.
Performing the duties of the Sr. Network Engineer as required.

Qualifications:
BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, or equivalent.
7 years of Data Network experience preferred
In-depth knowledge of Cisco Switching and Routing, F5 LTM/ASM, network Security, network management systems
CCNA, CCNP, Cisco Certified Network Associate, or equivalent hands on and network design experience
F5-CSE

Ability to work with Project Managers to ensure projects are completed successfully and on time
Has in-depth knowledge in own discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines.
