CSC is Hiring a Senior HR Technology Engineer Near Wilmington, DE

As a Senior HR Technology Engineer on the HR Technology team, you will be partnering with end-users and other stakeholders to deliver solutions within our HCM system. In this role, you will provide technical expertise and support, troubleshooting software application related issues as needed and developing long-term solutions. You will work on configuration of new or enhanced Oracle HCM Cloud functionality on an ongoing basis as new capabilities become available. A Senior HR Technology Engineer will serve as an escalation point for service requests and complex system issues. You will also partner with other members of the HR Technology team to deliver large-scale implementation projects. 

This role would best suit someone with experience working within Oracle HCM Cloud in an HR Technology role, and someone who has strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills. This role is also well suited for someone who enjoys working as part of a team.

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Provide technical support for end-users of the Oracle HCM Cloud application across implemented modules, such as Time & Labor, Absence Management, Benefits, Learning, Recruiting, Talent Management, Compensation, and Help Desk
  • Provide technical support, conduct security audits, and maintain data tables for other HR applications, such as payroll and benefit systems
  • Troubleshoot and conduct root-cause analysis on escalated issues
  • Identify opportunities where system functionality can better meet the needs of stakeholders and end-users
  • Configure, test, and implement new Oracle HCM Cloud functionality as available
  • Develop test scenarios and test scripts to facilitate quarterly release testing and coordinate testing with other members of the HR Technology team
  • Test existing functionality prior to all quarterly system releases and troubleshoot issues
  • Protect and help maintain the privacy of employee data including personal and compensation related information

Required Competencies: 

  • Experience with administration of Oracle HCM Cloud
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments effectively 
  • Strong problem solving abilities
  • Highly organized and action-oriented
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills, including the ability to articulate information in both technical and non-technical verbiage
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally
  • Passion for learning
  • General knowledge of HR processes and procedures
