Job Description

Crum & Forster Insurance Brokers, Inc. is looking for an Associate Account Executive. The candidate would be responsible for supporting Account Executives by performing all initial account analysis required as well as various other tasks. It will also include issuing and booking of policies and endorsements pursuant to internal standards and guidelines. Candidates should have experience with Microsoft Office, ImageRight and WINS experience a plus.

What you will do for C&F:

  • Be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Detail Oriented.
  • Experience with Outlook, Excel, Word; ImageRight and WINS experience a plus.
  • Perform all account analysis work required; i.e. risk meter, ISO, M&S, Web Research, D&B, Mapping (all ancillary resources).
  • Communicate clearly internally and externally both orally and through emails.
  • Issue Policies pursuant to internal standards and guidelines.
  • Book Policies in WINS pursuant to internal standards and guidelines.
  • Complete Fac Cession Slips (Reinsurance).
  • Code Facultative Reinsurance.
  • Calculate RP/AP endorsements based on internal standards and guidelines. (AP=Additional Premium/RP=Return Premium).
  • Determine pro-rata/short rate factors (method of calculating premiums on a short-term basis rather than Annual).
  • Issue Endorsements.
  • Book Endorsements in WINS.
  • Format RMS Import template for modeling and send RMS requests to appropriate parties (RMS=Risk Modeling—it helps determine pricing and exposures when there is catastrophe insurance involved—hurricane, flood earthquake, terrorism).
  • Order inspections, review, create checklist and send out recommendation letters to producers and follow up.
  • Issue NONR/Cancellations & Reinstatements pursuant to internal standards and guidelines and applicable legal and regulatory provisions.
  • Follow up with producers for all subjectivity requirements.
  • Work on various issues that arise on accounts that are financed through a Premium Finance Company.
  • Follow up with Facultative Markets for certificates/endorsements.

What you will bring to C&F:

  • 1-2 Years of Insurance Company Operations preferred.
  • Strong Communications and Organizational skills, being able to multi-task.
  • Proficient in various Microsoft software applications, such as Excel and Word.

Salary ranges are available for all positions at this location, taking into account roles with a comparable level of responsibility and impact in the relevant labor market and these salary ranges are regularly reviewed and adjusted in accordance with prevailing market conditions. The annualized base pay for the advertised position, located in the specified area, ranges from a minimum of $44,025.00 to a maximum of $73,375.00. The actual compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the market pay for the jobs at each level, the responsibilities and skills required for each job, and the employee’s contribution (performance) in that role. To be considered within market range, a salary is at or above the minimum of the range. You may also have the opportunity to participate in discretionary equity (stock) based compensation and/or performance-based variable pay programs.
