Job Description
Position : Customer Service Coordinator-Insurance / Billing Location : Lexington, KYPay : $16 an hour Schedule : 8 : 30 am-5 : 00 pmSpecialty : Insurance / Billing Customer Service Coordinator Requirements :
- Ability to function independently and as a team player
- 2 years experience with medical / billing / insurance claims
- Ability to practice discretion when dealing with confidential and sensitive information
- Ability to organize, prioritize and multitask
- Ability and comfort level in working with numbers
- Knowledge of our claims processes and procedures
- Knowledge of computers, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word and Access)
- Proven interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) Customer Service Coordinator Description :
- Maintain a high level of exceptional customer service and professionalism
- Answer incoming calls in a timely and professional manner
- Navigate through customer service applications with speed and accuracy
- Work with customers / providers to resolve all inquiries
- Provide troubleshooting assistance to customers with technical issues
- Read and interpret health insurance plan documents and accurately quote benefits
- Read and interpret medical, dental, and vision claims to provide answers to inquiries
- Oversee and monitor EDI rejects to keep current
- Work EDI rejects as needed promptly
- Assist with other projects when needed
