CrossFire Group is Hiring a Director, Business Development Near Warren, MI

Our client is looking for a Director of Business Development in Warren, MI!

Responsibilities

  • Leads critical projects and initiatives to address key strategic questions or issues for the company.
  • Develops project scope and plan for key strategic projects and initiatives, including deliverables, milestones, and timing.
  • Organize and guide a cross-functional team of leaders.
  • Develops, coordinates, and implements business strategies to align with the company’s objectives to drive growth and profitability.
  • Designs and leads analysis efforts to identify simplification opportunities and quantify potential impact with support of various functions.
  • Develops recommendations and drives execution of recommendations for areas of opportunity across the business.
  • Provides coaching, direction and leadership support to team members in order to achieve results.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must have TACOM experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Development or a related field.
  • 10 years of related experience OR 7 years of related consulting experience.
  • 5 years of management experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.

Standout Qualifications

  • Military experience in Army or Defense Acquisitions
  • Military tour at TACOM
  • Master’s degree in the field or in a related area; MBA preferred.
  • 15 years of experience.
  • Experience with complexity reduction concepts.
  • Thought leadership, change management, and project management experience.
  • Ability to influence change and build relationships with other business leaders.
  • Ability to conduct executive level presentations and facilitate group discussions to tackle complex problems.
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization and to impact others to move toward consensus.
