The Senior District Executive Chef will be responsible for culinary oversight at a multi component operation and designated district properties. The ideal candidate will be responsible for standardization and consistency of product throughout all district operations. The Senior District Executive Chef will conduct all district culinary audits consistent with established yearly schedule. The Senior District Executive Chef will partner with the operational leadership to support all campus culinarian to include hiring, discipline, performance reviews and compensation. This role will supervisor and coordinate all related culinary activities and will reporting to the Resident District Manager.

Reviews & support district P/L oversight, including food costs, labor costs, top line growth for all dining programs
District menu development, implementation, and review, pricing
Support development and district implementation of culinary programs
Estimate food consumption and requisition or purchase food
Select and develop recipes as well as standardize production recipes to ensure consistent quality
Establish presentation technique and quality standards
Ensure accurate equipment operation/maintenance, safety, sanitation.
Coordinate special catering events and may also offer culinary instruction and/or demonstrates culinary techniques.
District quality and consistency presentation standards based on Aramark standards.
Senior executive chef and culinary bench strength development oversight
Support marketing initiatives and new menu promotions throughout the district
Review menus mix with Regional Executive Chef, Director of Operations, and General Managers and District Manager and determine skill set required.
Participate in regional marketing and field presentations showcasing training capabilities/programs and culinary capabilities.
Directly supervises kitchen personnel with responsibility for hiring, mentoring, performance reviews and initiating pay increases.
Provide assessment of district’s chefs to REC highlighting candidates for advancement.

• 8 years of industry & culinary management experience
• Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, must be proficient with Microsoft systems and other computer programs.
• The ability to lead in a diverse environment with focus on client and customer services is essential to success in this role.
• Previous experience with control food & labor cost, demonstration cooking, menu development and pricing and development of culinary team preferred.
• P&L accountability and/or contract-managed service experience is desirable.
