Neogen Corporation is Hiring a Customer Service Representative Near Lexington, KY
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include:
- Answer customer telephone calls, including: Placing orders, answering order inquiries, billing inquiries, product inquiries, complaints and requests for credits.
- Track shipments for customers as needed
- ISSS will confirm pricing discrepancies with sales staff and Customer Service Manager.
- Calculate freight and service upgrades.
- Document customer complaints and problems.
- Enter new customers into Solomon.
- Backup Order Flow Coordinator as needed to confirm shipped orders including quantity shipped, lot numbers, and backorders.
- Verify availability and accuracy of lot numbers; insure lot number assignments meet customer dating requirements.
- Help facilitate export documents as needed, i.e. NAFTA, etc
- Maintain file of open orders by sales order number
- A college degree, preferably in business an/or animal science OR
- 1-3 years in customer service or comparable work experience preferred
