What's the opportunity:
We are looking for an Accountant to perform month-end reporting, general ledger maintenance and reconciliation, financial analysis, and forecasting and comparisons, analysis of budgeted and actual spending, physical inventory, and product costing. Accountants are responsible for performing research in response to management inquiries; analyzing financial information as part of the financial reporting process, and performing other general accounting and analytical duties.
What will you do:

• Gather financial data and ledgers.
• Prepare budgets and monitor expenditures.
• Assist in the consolidation of financial statements.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly and annual closings
• Assist in external and internal audits.
• Analyze finances to determine risks and create forecasts.
• Assist with responsibilities of month-end close processes, including the preparation of consolidated financial statements and analysis of financial results for the various division.
• Monthly bank reconciliations.
• Assist in the preparation of support for financial statement disclosures for external filings.
• Assist in the preparation of variance analysis and quarterly reporting packages.
• Assist Senior Accountant/Accounting Manager with ad-hoc projects as needed.
• Assist with preparing commission calculations in accordance/company policy
• Assist with all compliance related matters including, quarterly reviews and year-end audit support

What you bring to the table:

• Bachelor of Science in Accounting or equivalent from two-year college or university program
• High school diploma required and at least 1 year of related experience is preferred.
• Microsoft Office Suite experience; proficient in Excel
• Customer service experience via email and phone.
• 1-2 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
