Growing organization based in Central Denver is looking for a sharp, energetic Controller to join their team!
Position Overview:
Our client, a dynamic and rapidly growing organization, is seeking an experienced Controller to join their Accounting team
The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in construction accounting, or real estate, demonstrate proficiency in financial analysis, and showcase excellent reconciliations skills
This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong ability to manage multiple priorities, experience in financial reporting, and a keen eye for detail in financial statements
This position is 100% remote.
Re sponsibilities for Controller:
As the Controller, you will be responsible for performing reconciliations and preparing financial statements for multiples locations
Your role will involve audit preparation for various companies and divisions, including a focus on Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes
Assist with local audits, create grant reporting templates, and manage state filings
Additional Ad hoc projects outside of month-end close will also be a significant part of your responsibilities.

Controller Qualifications:
- Accounting Degree (MUST)
- 5 years of Accounting experience
- Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and data manipulations
- Experience with larger ERP systems
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- MBA or CPA is a plus.
- Proficiency in Excel
Controller Monthly Responsibilities Breakdown :
- Month-end close activities (50%)
- Second half of the month: Reconciliations, analysis, research, and Journal Entries (50%)
- Quarter and Year End close responsibilities as scheduled
